PVP
Lian is the first SSR unit, given to all players during the Tutorial. Don’t let that fool you, however, as she easily positions herself as a very competent single-target Burst Damage Dealer, while retaining decent sustained DPS - both for AOE and Single target.
With a chance to steal Turn meter from each enemy hit by her S3, Lian is one of the few Animus capable of playing twice in a row - and that without any external help. This gives her, on top of her already more than decent damage, the ability to unleash AOE Burst higher than any current Damage Dealer released!
Her S2 is another RNG ability, this time targeting random targets and dealing more instances of damage for each buff she possesses, up to a maximum of 3 extra attacks for a total of 7 hits. Her S1 is probably her weakest point, as it’s a simple ST attack, with more damage for each buff present on her, and heals her for a portion of the damage dealt. Awesome early on, but later on, it loses value as your team starts covering all your needs for survivability.
All in all, Lian is a good, but not overpowered unit, perfect to progress through the game’s various PVE fights, as long as she’s not disadvantaged by Affinity. She ends up struggling a bit in the late game there, as AUTO setups always look for extra consistency, and her kit hides a lot of firepower behind RNG.
In PVP, however, Lian’s AOE turn meter steal can prove deadly to any unprepared opponent, making her a valuable asset in multiple scenarios.
Base copy and dupes obtained for free,
Very high damage ceiling,
Perfect for the early game progression.
Reliant on buffs to deal good damage,
Her S2 is very RNG in AoE scenarios.

1
After the main body acts, it performs a [Follow-up Attack] on the primary target, dealing 2 instances of 110% damage each. If a [CRIT] occurs, it increases the main body Animus’s [CRIT DMG] by 10%, up to a maximum of 8 stacks.
Consistent option for most DPS characters when it comes to raw damage output. Deals 2 sizable hits on a 3 turn cooldown and grants a relatively quickly stacking buff amounting to 60% CRIT DMG once fully charged. Also has more flexible DPS matrixes than other options thanks to it possessing 12P Swiftrush.
White Fang is Lian's long fight damage shell choice in most scenarios thanks to it's sizeable multiplier that gets multiplied by her Passive DMG%, it's flexibile Matrix options and the CRIT DMG buff it provides.

Before the owner takes action, increases their ATK by 1200 for 2 turn(s) and additionally applies a 2-turn [Life Leech - Shell] to them.
Grants the wearer 1200 Flat ATK and a buff allowing them to lifesteal 10% of the damage they deal while active. Damage-wise, the Shell is strongest for characters that don’t rely on their Shell for a large portion of their total damage, like Follow-Up attackers. The lifesteal effect of this Shell also makes it worth considering in PVP and PVE, even if it’s a damage downgrade.
Falls behind White Fang noticably in sustained fights but holds an edge in immedate AoE burst damage on turns 1 and 2 of a fight which can be relevant in some PVE encounters and in PVP for cleaving enemies.

At the start of the battle, puts the owner Animus in a 1-turn [Void] state; afterward, for every 3 turn(s), enters a 2-turn [Void] state after the turn ends and increases ATK by 30%.
A PVP-focused defensive option for DPS characters, allowing them to enter the Void state at the start of battle, increasing their Effect Resistance by 100%, reducing the area DMG they take by 50%, and also making them un-targettable for its duration.
Law of silence, although generally the default choice even in PVP, is specifically designed to perform in that environment. Depending on the Meta, Law of Silence can become a viable option for most of the more fragile Damage Dealers, giving them better odds at surviving if you end up slower than your opponent.
