Recommended Targets
While in general any of the 14 picks below are viable, we recommend the following Combination of any 2 to 3 of the below to keep your account flexible:
If you are aiming for specific combinations, we recommend

Yes, a Selector exists, but you will need to progress quite some way into the game before you get a hold of it (1600 mileage points, or about 200 character summons (each 10 pull is 80 each) or 400 pet summons (each is 40 each)).
Healers
- Lueira is a unique healer who doubles as a heavy hitter. Her kit revolves around a passive that lets her basic attacks strike every enemy on the field as long as she has a shield active. She maintains this state with her signature skill, which grants herself a specialized shield that absorbs damage taken by her allies. While she lacks traditional team-wide offensive buffs, her massive damage scaling more than makes up for it.
![Lueira]()
- Dian Cecht is a meta-defining healer who empowers Knight teams to unleash massive damage during her Ultimate. This ability grants all Knight-class allies Melee Attack and Additional Damage. Her active skill provides team-wide damage reduction and a shield (scaling with her Attack%) to all allies except herself. Passively, she applies a heal-over-time effect to the two lowest-health allies and boosts the entire team's critical damage.
![Dian Cecht]()
- Isolde is a survival-focused healer featuring a constant team-wide damage reduction skill and a powerful burst heal on her Ultimate. Her passive boosts her own Magic Attack, directly increasing her healing output. This combination of persistent damage mitigation and strong healing makes her exceptionally valuable for progression content
![Isolde]()
- Ria distinguishes herself as a healer focused on enhancing her team, granting valuable Attack and Critical Damage buffs to all allies. She compensates for her lack of active healing abilities or an Ultimate (unlike other 5-star healers) with this strong buffing capability and the fastest auto-heals available, consistently healing allies via her basic attacks.
![Ria]()
Tanks
- Cowqueen Belsey is a Fire Knight with HP-scaling abilities, consistent stun application, and powerful debuffs that increase the damage enemies take. Her passive further enhances her survivability by boosting HP% and Crit Chance whenever she is hit, making her extremely tanky and at times, appearing almost immortal. Thanks to this combination of durability and utility, she stands out as a top-tier tank across all game modes.
![Cowqueen Belsey]()
- Galahad is another meta-defining character that enabled the wizard and archer lineups. She can be used almost everywhere due to the nature of her Ultimate, which not only increases Archers and Wizards’ attack for 20 seconds, but also gives damage immunity to the team for 5 seconds, making some fights easy through blocking big damage windows. She also applies a full up-time active Damage Reduction buff and an DEF% increase to the party. Her only weaknesses are a lack of reliable self recovery and Radiance Typing, which makes her weak to a lot of the Nature stages throughout the game.
![Galahad]()
- Lancelot is another Radiance Knight that serves as a Drain Tank. All her scalings are based off her max HP which makes her innately tanky. Her kit focuses on resetting her skill cooldowns, dealing a large amount of AOE damage while healing herself. She might be classified as a tank but don’t let that fool you, she can deal a lot of damage and be the main carry in many PvE lineups. Her relevance drops once you shift towards pushing higher scores in raid or bossing scenarios, as she offers no party utility and comps usually focus on scaling ATK% instead.
![Lancelot]()
Supports
- Morgan le Fay is no doubt the strongest support thanks to her exceptionally powerful kit, packing 3 unique effects - Damage store, party Active Skill Cooldown reduction, and Additional Damage increase. Her ultimate applies a distinctive debuff that stores and inflicts all accumulated damage the target receives for its duration, while reducing the cooldown of every ally’s active skills. Her first passive boosts the team’s Additional Damage and Critical Resistance, and decreases allies’ skill cooldowns at start of combat, allowing the party to blitz the first wave. Morgan Le Fay is an indispensable unit who can adapt to any composition and excel across all types of content.
![Morgan le Fay]()
- Cowqueen Belsey is a tank, a support, and a DPS all in one. She excels in every role she takes on, with a kit that is packed with power and versatility. This combination makes her stand out as an exceptionally strong unit, capable of adapting to a wide range of situations and team compositions.
![Cowqueen Belsey]()
- NEO Bedivere excels as a core support with an overloaded kit: Her ultimate grants the entire team 100% Status Ailment resist (CC immunity) while boosting her own skill damage and effect. Her active skill roots targets for crowd control. Her first passive significantly boosts team critical rate and her own attack. Her second passive heals the lowest HP ally whenever based on her damage inflicted, providing consistent sustain. This combination of team-wide CC immunity, powerful crit buffs, reliable CC, and healing makes her excel in every key support role — defense, offense, and utility.
![NEO Bedivere]()
- Merlin excels by granting her team valuable Critical Rate buffs while applying Freeze to enemies with both her Active and Ultimate abilities. This dual-threat capability makes her exceptionally efficient at stalling enemies and interrupting boss mechanics. As a Holy attribute character, she possesses a neutral element—neither strong nor weak against any other element. Her card is also one of the best Wizard or Healer cards in the game.
![Merlin]()
- Erin, is also a core unit for both PvE progression and maximizing damage in Daily Raids. Her Ultimate grants the entire team a massive shield (scaling with her Max HP) alongside valuable Additional Damage. Her Active skill boosts ally Attack while reducing enemy Attack. To complete her support kit, she also provides permanent team-wide buffs: Additional Damage and Damage Reduction. As she also needs to build HP% to scale her shield, Erin is also versatile with her positioning once invested, allowing her to take the place of a squishier unit to tank incoming damage.
![Erin]()
- Isabel is a premier support unit for enhancing team survivability. Her Ultimate grants damage immunity similar to
Galahad's ultimate, but with a hit-count limit. This makes it ideal for blocking lethal boss mechanics or slow, high-impact attacks. Her active skill reduces enemy Critical Hit Chance and Attack, while her passive provides her with limited-hit immunities. Her support is no slouch offensively, being able to reduce Critical Resistance (increasing party Crit Chance) and increase the party’s Critical Damage.![Galahad]()
DPS
- Morgan le Fay excels not only as a support but also as a formidable DPS whose strengths are centered on amplifying damage. Her skill applies a debuff to enemies that records the damage they receive over a set duration, then unleashes the stored damage once the effect ends. She stands out as one of the top damage dealers in the game thanks to this unique mechanic, combined with powerful self-buffs and team-wide enhancements. This blend of offensive prowess and supportive utility makes her an exceptional unit capable of dominating battles while elevating the performance of her allies.
![Morgan le Fay]()
- Palamedes is the current top-tier choice for Knight compositions. She delivers tremendous damage, though her very short melee range often makes her the first target in battle. Her kit centers on resetting Active Skills when enemies are crowd-controlled, and she gains an exceptionally high level of self-buffs whenever enemies are restrained. This combination of raw power and skill synergy secures her place as the current leading DPS option among Knights.
![Palamedes]()
- Lancelot “Wait, isn't she a tank?” With heavy investment and synergistic team support, she rivals top DPS units in PvE Content while retaining her innate durability. She defies conventional roles—but reaching this hybrid potential demands significant resource commitment.
![Lancelot]()
- Cowqueen Belsey “Another
Lancelot??” Make no mistake: although she shares the same HP-scaling skills as Lancelot, she is far more versatile thanks to her consistent stuns and an Ultimate that applies a debuff, causing enemies to take increased damage when hit. This flexibility allows her to fit seamlessly into both Knight teams and Wizard/Archer-centric lineups, making her a valuable option across multiple compositions.![Lancelot]()
Other Notable 5☆ Characters
- Tiamat once regarded as the undisputed apex damage dealer, has felt somewhat lackluster in recent metas. While her raw power and Holy typing still make her formidable, she no longer dominates as effortlessly as before. Even so, she remains a strong option for Wizard teams thanks to her synergy and reliable output. Following the passage of time, Tiamat has decent showings across all content, but is currently outshone in all of them. She is still a decent catch-all DPS option for beginners, and should not be ignored if a pickup banner is up.
![Tiamat]()
- Lohengrin stands as the lone backline DPS option for Knight-centric compositions. She also introduces the game’s first summoning mechanic by calling forth her sister’s shadow to fight alongside her. Her passive ability further enhances her durability, allowing her to survive what would otherwise be lethal damage and granting her remarkable staying power. Lohengrin remains a solid choice for players seeking a durable damage dealer with unique mechanics.
![Lohengrin]()
- Eva is a recent addition and one of the strongest sub-DPS characters in the game. When played manually, she can rival Tiamat’s damage output, though her reliance on ramping buffs makes her less effective in shorter battles. She shines as a valuable raid content asset in both
Galahad Compositions & Knight Comps (synergy with
Ran) due to her consistent Shock debuff application and burst damage.![Ran]()
- Circe's base kit lags behind other Wizards, she wields one of the game's most powerful cards for Healers: a permanent, team-wide Attack Reduction debuff on all enemies. This singular effect dramatically boosts survivability, making it an exceptional tool despite her shortcomings.
![Circe]()
- Lilith shares
Circe's niche status but redeems herself with the game's premier support card: a team-wide Critical Resistance shred against all foes. Maxed, it translates to a flat +15% Critical Hit Rate for your DPS — an unrivaled offensive boost to your entire team’s damage potential.![Circe]()
- Ran, a Holy Knight, synergizes powerfully with Shock effects and Knight Teams (
Lua/
Eva/
Dian Cecht). She debuffs enemies (Defense Down + Critical Resistance Down) while self-buffing Attack and Crit Chance. Her attacks are also further enhanced against single-target enemies and the Shock Debuff. Ran is not too far behind
Palamedes in terms of damage while still providing strong party utility. Her Card provides retaliatory damage when hit, greatly increasing the damage output of melee DPSes.![Palamedes]()
- Anessa is a fast-attacking core DPS essential for the Cow Queen raid (Daily Raid & Tower). While she underperforms outside this niche compared to top carries, her card boosts team-wide Attack—mirroring
Merlin's buff but for Knights—significantly enhancing team damage and healing potential.![Merlin]()
- Tristan is a Nature Archer specializing in crowd control, making her a specialized pick for Avalon and Raid teams that exploit consistent CC-lock strategies. While having lackluster damage potential, she's a valuable progression asset for content where disabling enemies is critical.
![Tristan]()
- Vivien is a viable alternative DPS Wizard when paired with root applicators such as
Tristan or even better,
NEO Bedivere. With proper setup, her damage scaling allows her to rival
Tiamat's output, provided she is consistently supported by allies who can apply root to enemies. Her card is also very powerful and regularly used by most mages, offering a party Critical Damage buff.![Tiamat]()
- Claire occupies a unique niche, finding value primarily in select mid-to-late game PVE content and PVP. Her defining trait is the passive 'Sacrifice,' which triggers when she nears death: it fully restores the team's HP and boosts their attack. This makes her a powerful survival tool against challenging boss mechanics. Players often pair her with the 4☆ Ethan card, which prevents her death while still allowing 'Sacrifice' to activate, securing its crucial benefits.
![Claire]()
Other Notable 4☆ Characters
These characters are hard-capped at Level 120, limiting their viability in endgame content. However, they remain viable options for early game progression or emergency use when stronger units are unavailable.
- Ethan, the main protagonist, features a high-impact Ultimate with a significant cooldown. His passive mirrors Lancelot's, boosting gear main stat efficiency for enhanced scaling. He also has the best tank card which is essential for survival on units like Lancelot and Galahad in high-level content.
![Ethan]()
- Bedivere is unrivaled as the supreme chicken-slaying specialist for town farming. She can also be used in specific boss fights (e.g., Stage 24-36 Lucius) through her Ultimate and Actives crowd-control locking.
![Bedivere]()
- Esmeralda punches above her 4-star rarity as a potent healer. She provides sustained survivability through Damage Reduction and HP Increase passives, delivers targeted AoE healing with her active (3 allies), and her Ultimate simultaneously heals the team while amplifying incoming healing—significantly boosting overall recovery.
