Is Rerolling Worth it?
If you're interested in rerolling you have to know that it's a bit tricky to do in Etheria: Restart.
Limitations
- There are no Guest Accounts available - neither on PC or Mobile,
- This means you will need a new email for every reroll attempt - or alternatively, use the salt method,
- If your email is abc@gmail.com, add +numbers (anything is fine, but numbers make tracking the accounts easier) which makes it abc+1@gmail.com. Any email (with the login code) send to abc+1@gmail.com will be sent to abc@gmail.com instead.
- Once you're done rerolling, you can just bind the account to a normal gmail account for ease of logging in without the code,
- Only gmail works for the salt method,
- There's an alternative to salting and that's using something called proxy emails (like 33mail, ProxiedMail etc). It allows you to create 'temporary' emails that will redirect everything to email of your choosing. It's like salting, but with extra steps.
- Emulators that are working (in case you want to do multi-reroll):
- LDPlayer or Memu - for PC.
- BlueStacks - for Mac and Linux.
Despite all that, rerolling is definitely worth in Etheria: Restart - the process isn't that long and it will allow you to start with additional SSR character - or even more if you want it.
Reroll process
It takes roughly 15-20 minutes per reroll in Etheria: Restart. Here's what you will need to do:
- Finish the Prologue and always use the Skip button in top right corner - it allows you to bypass the story and/or videos,
- During prologue, the auto-battle and x2 speed are disabled, so you have to do each fight manually,
- Make sure to use Gray S2 skill first as it buffs all allies and he gets then another turn and you use his S3 to deal AOE damage and have a chance to inflict DEF- on enemies,
- After the Prologue you will be forced to do a single pull - you will obtain Lian from it. She will replace Sybil and be your main carry moving forward,
- Next, you will have to do the Main Story and finish chapter 1 to unlock the Mail feature,
- Once you finish stage 1-3, you will be forced to do a 10-pull on the Standard banner,
- After that, the tutorial will stop forcing your hand and you get get goodies from the mail and use codes to get more pulls!

Pulls and what to do
How many summons you can do
- 1x forced RGB pull,
- 10x forced RGB pulls,
- 16x RGB Tickets from Codes,
- 4x RGB Tickets from Codes that give gems,
- 3x RGB Tickets from chest during first Chapter,
- 10x RGB Tickets from Pre-Reg,
- 1x RGB Ticket from New Aid Kit,
- 10x RGB Tickets from Crystal Supply I,
- 4x RGB Tickets from Achievements,
- 5x RGB Ticket from Day 01 check in (events tab),
- 5x RGB Ticket from summon shop redemption,
- 1x RGB Ticket From first time Jacques kill,
- 6x RGB Ticket from remaining 620 gems.
So in total, you're able to do around ~75 pulls on the RGB banner. So that's quite a lot - actually nearly enough to hard pity the Standard banner, but usually you will get at least 2x SSR characters or more each reroll!
What banner to pull on
You have two choices here:
- Reroll for Freya, so you will pull on her rate-up banner to get her early (pity is set at 80),
- Reroll on the RGB Standard banner to get either a RGB character (0.75%) or LD character (0.25%).
We suggest rolling on the RGB Standard banner instead, because you can always come back to Freya banner and guarantee her (since there's no 50/50 and you get enough pulls from progression). This way, you will start the game with one - or more - SSR characters.
And considering the rates, you actually can try to hunt LD characters from the RGB Standard banner as they also drop there.
LD Banner rerolling
You can't reroll on the LD Standard banner as there only LD Summon Tickets work - you can't convert Hydra Crystals to pulls there. Also in theory you could reroll on the LD Rate-up banner as there you can exchange 300 Hydra Crystals for one pull, but with around 1300 Hydra Crystals available to you, that gives you only 4 pulls, so very low chance to get
Selector Banner

There's a beginner selector banner where within 40 pulls you will receive a Red/Blue/Green SSR of your choice. You can pick any RGB character with the exception of
Who To Reroll For?
In this section we will go over the best SSR characters that you want to aim for - either from reroll or selecting them from the Selector Banner as your target.
First thing, don't pull on the Selector Banner during reroll or even after that for the first 1-3 days - you will always get who you want there within 40 pulls, so just leave it for later. In the first few days you will do plenty of pulls - around 200-300 or more depending how far you can push. This means you will get a few random SSR from the Standard banner and if you're unlucky, you might get the same character you just selected from the banner - it happened to a lot people in the beta. Dupes aren't that important in this game, so this hurts even more.
First rate-up character
And similar to the selector banner issue, Freya will be available on the Standard banner at the same time her rate-up banner becomes available - so on day 1. And there's a chance you will get Freya from a random pull on standard - so we suggest skipping her rate-up banner initially at least for a few days, because getting a dupe of her will feel really bad.
Best LD options
If you're planning to reroll for an LD character, here are the best targets:
- Lily fulfills the role of the universal Support. Not only she offers a party wide SPD+ buff, but she also can 'mark' one character with her unique Twin Trick buff that boost their Turn Meter, provides CRIT DMG+ buff and also allows the ally to Assist her when she attacks - the last one is great forRosa and other basic attack focused characters. Lily is very powerful and versatile and because of her element, you can use her in all content without any issues.
- Heinrich is a DPS/Debuffer hybrid character who is the best dispeller in the game (he can remove buffs from enemies), but on top of that he can inflict additional debuffs (Wound and Block) that prevent enemies from healing or from receiving buffs. If that wasn't enough, his unique debuff increases the DMG Taken by enemies when they are critically hit and increases the chance they are critically hit in the first place. All that combined makes him a universal character that can counter a lot of bosses - especially on higher difficulties - and allow you to not build several other characters for different content.
- Massiah is a universal and strong DPS character than can be used in virtually all content in the game. While in some of it, he won't be the best, he's still just a step below a dedicated DPS of the proper element, making him versatile and being able to be helpful no matter what content you want to tackle. Still, he's a DPS - and in gacha games, DPS are easier to replace than unique supports, so he's lower priority than Heinrich and Lily.
Best RGB options
Below you can find some great SSR RGB options that will be great if you receive them from the reroll:
- Tiamat is a standout DPS/Sustain hybrid, offering great versatility, durability, and scalability in both PvE and PvP. She can fulfill multiple roles, like taunting, damage sharing, self/team healing/shielding, and team support. Her ultimate form also transforms her into an damage dealer that can deal AoE damage to all enemies based on her max HP.
- But it's not all sunshine and rainbows. While Tiamat can do a lot of things, she doesn't excel at any of them. Other characters can deal more damage, heal more etc. While she will make your early and mid game progression a breeze, later down the line more specialized characters will overcome her (in PVE - in PVP she will remain a top-tier pick), so keep that in mind. Still, if you're looking for a character that will 'carry' you through the first few weeks, Tiamat is a good pick - if you're thinking more longterm, check other choices below.
- Xiada is a AoE-focused DPS character that requires ramp up to perform at her full potential. Whenever she obtains a buff, she can increase stacks of her unique buff that not only provides her with ATK and CRIT DMG, but also fully removes the cooldown from her S3 - so she can spam it every turn, dealing insane amounts of damage.
- Just keep in mind that you need to pair Xiada with buffers that buff her often - otherwise it will take her too long to get to max stacks and her damage output will drop. DokiDoki andLingluo are the two best partners for Xiada that allow her to instantly get max stacks before she even moves.
- Rosa is a powerful SSR unit known for her critical hit potential and ability to control turn meters. She deals heavy damage and disrupts enemies by reducing their turn meters with each critical hit. Her passive skills boost her damage output allowing constant follow up attacks, making her a persistent threat. Rosa’s mix of offense and utility makes her a valuable asset at all stages of the game.
- Still, her early game is pretty underwhelming as she requires good gear and investment into her Skills to become the murder machine she is when fully invested into - she's great in DokiDoki and Aurora and also one of the best DPS you can bring for Union Bosses and Phantom Theater. So she's basically the opposite if Tiamat - you exchange weaker start for top tier endgame character.
- Also, she pairs nicely with Lily so rerolling for her and then picking Rosa from the selector will be a very popular route.
- Rilmocha is another DPS character who excels at AoE content. While her S3 only attacks one enemy, she can deal splash damage to every other enemy based on how much damage she had done to the primary target - this makes her great at neutralizing priority targets while at the same time dealing damage to others.
- She shines especially against DokiDoki boss and is the best DPS you can bring there - nobody else matches her speed or ease of dealing with DokiDoki. This is important, because DokiDoki drops speed sets and it will be the boss you will focus first as speed is king in this game. She has a big weakness though - in pure single-target content her Splash Damage is useless (for example Union Bosses and Phantom Theatre) and her damage output drops.
- Basically, she's a great pick if you want to have an easy time farming DokiDoki, but outside of that she's nowhere BIS.
