Hello everyone! We have decided to start a new series starting from UR40! Each Boss will have basic information about them listed, as well as some tips, tricks and warnings to be wary of. Of course, it also includes the suggested meta teams that top-ranking unions use!

A high-sync player is considered someone above sync 641.
Players between 561 and 641 will constantly feel the difficulty of bosses getting easier and easier.
A lower sync player is considered someone below sync 561.

This guide targets players and unions who intend to be competitive in Union Raid.

Sunbather

Tip

Attacks to look out for to minimise need for healing:

Clear the QTE sequence with high priority.
Shoot down the bombs.
Cover the unit that is being targeted by Sunbather’s non-QTE laser attack.

One of the most commonly used teams in top unions is:

Anis: Star Crown /Nayuta Cinderella Neon: Vision Eye Mast: Romantic Maid

If you have Isabel and Arcana built, you should also try:

Anis: Star Isabel Arcana Crown /Flora (Treasure) Cinderella

If only one of Neon: Vision Eye or Cinderella is built:

Anis: Star Crown /Nayuta Neon: Vision Eye /Cinderella Anis: Sparkling Summer Maiden: Ice Rose

If players are trying to save Crown and Nayuta both, they may opt for:

Anis: Star Mint Cinderella Neon: Vision Eye Prika

Or, if a weak electric hit is needed, players may also aim to save Anis: Star with this team.

Anis: Star /Moran (Treasure) Ade: Agent Bunny Neon: Vision Eye /Cinderella Anis: Sparkling Summer Maiden: Ice Rose .

It is ideal to avoid double/triple hitting on Sunbather this UR. However, if some players face such a situation, they may try to use the following teams:

And choosing between the following two teams for your second hit:

Moran (Treasure) Nayuta /Crown Neon: Vision Eye Anis: Sparkling Summer Maiden: Ice Rose

OR, the higher damage variant vs core bosses:

Rosanna (Treasure) Crown /Nayuta Anis: Sparkling Summer Maiden: Ice Rose Siren

For the remaining two teams, players can choose between:

Tip

Attacks to look out for to minimise need for healing:

I-frame dodge the cluster of green flashbang pellets.
Cover the unit being targeted when the shield is up.
Try to cover the whole team (if you don’t know which unit is being targeted by the boss) to avoid a unit from dying from the burst laser. Look at the attack indicators (red circles) shrinking on its 4 balls in order to time the cover to minimise damage loss.

If this is not enough for your team to survive, just use a team with a healer, such as Helm(Treasure).

It is important to note that for Fire-Weak, the meta teams involve limited units, especially Brid: Silent Track. If you do not have her, you may replace Brid: Silent Track with another B2 like Crown , Nayuta or Ade: Agent Bunny , but it is crucial to note that Fire-Weak UR has a critical need for Brid: Silent Track.

Oftentimes, you might want to use Rapi: Red Hood on Iron Weak; in these cases:

Anis: Star / Siren Brid: Silent Track Rei Ayanami / Helm (Treasure) /Snow White: Heavy Arms Diesel: Winter Sweets Mihara: Bonding Chain

Unions often feel the need to double or even triple hit fire bosses, in which case there are a lot of variations players can try, such as:

Chatterbox

		Not if you can successfully take care of missiles and cover/shield for jumps	Harder the lower your sync is

Attacks to look out for to minimise need for healing:

Beware! Do not fail any QTEs if you struggle with surviving on this boss.

You ideally want jumps to be timed such that you are in the transition period to another burst, or have to long-reload with your main DPS (Snow White: Heavy Arms).
There are two types of full-screen QTEs that can come up that players need to know how to deal with:

If you are high sync, delaying the full-screen QTEs might be good for you, as it can allow for more damage to be dealt since otherwise Chatterbox keeps jumping like crazy.

Ball Sack QTE - It has 4 consecutive Red circles that pop up one after the other as you shoot them. One sack on the left, one sack on the right.

W QTE - self-explanatory

Crown is ideally used against Chatterbox, since her shields can help against the numerous jumps CB makes. Hence, players may use:

Liter /Moran (Treasure) Crown Snow White: Heavy Arms Privaty (Treasure) Elegg: Boom and Shock /Mast: Romantic Maid

Siren or Anis: Star can also be a viable option for B1 if more damage is needed.

Alternate teams for saving Crown include using Nayuta or Ade: Agent Bunny over Crown, but it is ideal to have Elegg: Boom and Shock skilled up and OLed for these teams rather than the option we have with Crown to use Mast: Romantic Maid :

B1-CDR Nayuta /Ade: Agent Bunny Snow White: Heavy Arms Privaty (Treasure) Elegg: Boom and Shock

Ludmilla: Winter Owner is a very strong option for Water bosses with core, where she may be used over Elegg: Boom and Shock or Mast: Romantic Maid if she is built, or even Privaty (Treasure) if she is not built.

Helm (Treasure) may be used over Privaty (Treasure) or Elegg: Boom and Shock /Mast: Romantic Maid if healing is required or if a unit is not built/needed elsewhere.

Another rising star team, thanks to the new release of Sugar (Treasure), is the Dorothy: Serendipity SG team:

Tove (Treasure) Arcana: Fortune Mate Dorothy: Serendipity Sugar (Treasure) Soline: Frost Ticket

This can be considered team 2 for water.

There is not much flexibility in Water overall, because the good units are a level apart from the bad units, so if players aim for 3 teams, they will find most players opting for a similar setup to:

Wind-Weak, the simplest to understand meta. Everyone should already have the main team built up, since we all love Kraken after all, do we not?

Attacks to look out for to minimise need for healing:

Nayuta should be enough to take care of healing against this boss. If she isn’t, try covering from some of the boss attacks when a Nikke is low. Scarlet: Black Shadow should reduce the number of Lasers the boss hits.

You may use Liter /Moran (Treasure) over Siren if Siren is needed elsewhere for more damage, or use Anis: Star over Siren if more damage is needed on wind.

		Shields and RNG help. Focusing turrets down fast and covering the laser can allow no heal teams.	Medium for low syncs, but easier the higher your sync level goes.

Tip

Attacks to look out for to minimise need for healing:

Focus turrets down fast
Shoot the bombs if they’re about to hit a low HP Nikke
Cover from the Laser or use a shielder like Crown or Tia. Make sure to not have all the lasers focused on Tia; delay her taunt! Be wary of hit timings; look at the attack indicators (red circles) shrinking on the boss before he does an attack.

This YouTuber, DoroGacha, shares his run, where he verbally explains in English how low sync players can survive against this boss. Using Crown can be extremely beneficial.

When facing Level 2 or Level 3, however, the damage from the turrets and bombs will hurt a lot of low-sync players!

Remember to use Cinderella: Crystal Wave in Sniper mode against Material H!
Destruction Cube is useful for this boss!
It is also important to note that Pierce DPS perform much better than DPS that cannot pierce against Material H. This is not only because the core is pierceable and gets a bonus hit, but also because Material H has a shield/barrier that has a lot of HP.
Hence, units like Rapi: Red Hood or Eve perform worse. Raven can still perform well since her sustained damage can surpass the barrier. Rapi: Red Hood , however, is better used on Fire or as a B1 for Material H.

Main Teams

One of the strongest options for the upcoming raid should be:

Anis: Star /Rapi: Red Hood Mint Cinderella: Crystal Wave Red Hood B3 Prika

If you have BMilk built, you can aim for an easy second team:

Rapi: Red Hood Crown Milk: Blooming Bunny Raven Privaty (Treasure)

If you have Snow White built, you can further aim for a meta Team 3 as well!

Zwei (Treasure) / Miranda (Treasure) Mint Snow White Maxwell Helm: Aquamarine

Alternatively, if you do not have Snow White built and want to use more teams on Material H, you can try aiming for combos that split up the 3 main Pierce DPS, Cinderella: Crystal Wave , Milk: Blooming Bunny and Red Hood B3 , such as:

If you’re aiming for a two-team combo but do not have Snow White nor Milk: Blooming Bunny built, you can aim for a comfortable split of Cinderella: Crystal Wave and Red Hood B3 in separate teams:
