- How each config works:
- E0 and all Light Cones: If a team used an E1+ limited 5★ character, the team is left out of the average. 4★ and standard 5★ characters aren't restricted when it comes to Eidolons, so it includes E0-E6.
- E0 and no limited Light Cones: Similar to the config above, but with no limited 5★ Light Cones equipped by any team member.
- E1-E2 and all Light Cones: Teams must use at least one E1 or E2 limited 5★ character. If a team used an E3+ limited 5★ character, the team is left out of the average.
- If the data for a character is skewed (|γ1| > 0.8), trimmed mean is used instead of mean. It calculates the average after excluding the highest 25% and lowest 25% of scores.

Character usage over time
The table below shows the average performance and usage rate in the last 2 phases of Apocalyptic Shadow - so what's being taken into account for the purpose of our tier list. We don't just look at the last phase data because the buffs and enemy layout heavily impact performance of some characters. Keep in mind that sometimes the data can be skewed - for example high usage rate usually negatively impacts the character cycles and the opposite also happens when a character isn't that popular, but performs above expectations thanks to dedicated fans. We don't take the data at face value, but further correlate it with our testing to get a better picture of which characters make clearing MoC easier.
